Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Corrina Chang, MS, CCC-SLP, relocated to San Jose, CA, when she was a teenager, and attended the University of California, Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, CA, where she was awarded her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2007. She additionally holds a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from California State University, East Bay in East Bay, CA (2011). She received her certificate of clinical competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Corrina remains active in her field as a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and the California Speech and Hearing Association. Her approach to speech-language therapy was shaped by her experience growing up with undiagnosed dyslexia and ADHD. In addition to her learning disabilities, she was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis several weeks after she was born, which led to countless surgeries to remove tumors around her body. “I know firsthand that every child has his or her own learning style and it is my job to teach them in a way that best suits their abilities.
